Big Sky Subaru Track Day at Lewistown
I decided to take the Honda this time around. The track surface was “chip-sealed” the week before the event and the surface was atrocious. No traction at all, and to make it worse my car is now covered in little flecks of this stuff. There was a great mix of cars. Sadly, this was the last track day of the season (there is one autocross left this weekend). Here are some photos!
The parts are arriving, and the build begins…
I just installed a set of Perrin 22mm adjustable swaybars (Thanks to MGI sponsor Josh at Import Image). The car definitely corners flatter now, which should help with grip on the skidpads and race tracks at One Lap. Having combined these sways with the previously installed polyurethane steering rack bushings, the car feels more responsive in quick transitions. Overall, the dynamics of the STI now feel “crisper” than they did before.
Thanks to Scott over at WebFx, the official MGI website is up and running!
This is the photo I submitted to Motor Trend- they are profiling each team on their website MotorTrend.com.
