Do you want to sponsor MGI for the 2009 One Lap of America?

Team MGI is seeking sponsorship for One Lap of America 2009. There is a fair amount of advertising real estate available on our cars and on our racing suits. You can also advertise on our website or in our photos and videos. The process can be as formal or informal as you prefer. If you can hook us up with some cash, gas, parts or service, we are probably willing to put your name or URL on our cars. However, if you are interested in major sponsorship of some kind (estimated at $1000 or more), please contact us and we can arrange for you to occupy several body panels and/or include your advertisement during video production. Local sponsors should also contact us for information about local advertising, including in-person appearances with the cars, decals and/or apparel production.

MEDIA COVERAGE & EXPOSURE FOR ONE LAP OF AMERICA

One Lap of America is a major event, and will be covered by Motor Trend magazine in 2009. Motor Trend has over 1.5 million readers worldwide, and they have guaranteed to cover every participant on their website. Although we cannot guarantee your name will appear in the magazine or on MotorTrend.com, there is one thing that we can guarantee: exposure.

One Lap of America is covered by hundreds of magazines, newspapers and news channels every year. The event is referenced and discussed on most any internet car forum. We will be posting threads about our builds and about our experience at the event on the forums. Naturally, we would use every opportunity to thank our sponsors publicly before, during and well after the event. We will shooting with SLR cameras and a HD video camera. We will also be taking in-car/on-track footage, and we are bringing an IT expert to edit and upload videos and images during the event from trackside via satellite link. We will be sharing our videos and pictures with other automotive enthusiasts online at no charge. We plan to be the first to report on the event, and the first to have on-track racing video posted online for the world to see.

 2007 One Lap of America

OLOA requires that the cars traverse 3000+ miles of interstate highway. The STI will cover over 6,037 miles (9715 km) of interstate highway from start to finish. We will pass through 16 states on our journey. Nobody will pass by these One Lap decorated cars without a double-take.

The event includes stops at some of America’s greatest race tracks. There will be media coverage at these events, and several have charity events scheduled with parade laps during mid-day. The venues include skid pads and drag racing in addition to the many race tracks, and all events are open to the public. This is your opportunity to advertise for cheap!
